Brianza is a place long marked by botanical and horticultural experimentation, with its historical parks filled to the brim with plants from all over the world. At the same time, climate change has made it an area suitable for plants that would have been unthinkable only a few years back.
The garden at Carimate takes advantage of this context by alternating plants once exotic but now typical of the area, such as camellias, azaleas, and Japanese cherry trees, with Mediterranean trees like strawberry trees, olive trees, and the magnificent cork oak, which precedes the glass and stone parallelepiped of the house.
